Creamy Artichoke And Potato Soup

Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb artichokes
  • 1/4 lb potatoes
  • 3/4 pint milk and water (equal parts)
  • 1/4 oz butter
  • pepper and salt to taste

Method

  1. 1 Peel, wash, and cut up the artichokes and potatoes into small pieces.
  2. 2 Cook the vegetables in the milk and water mixture until tender.
  3. 3 Rub the cooked vegetables through a sieve and return to the saucepan.
  4. 4 Add butter and seasoning, boil up, and serve.
