Creamed Young Squash
Ingredients
- young squashes
- 1 cup cream
- 1 small piece butter
- pepper
- salt
Method
- 1 Peel young squashes, cut in half, and remove seeds.
- 2 Boil squash pieces until tender, then drain in a colander.
- 3 Rub the cooked squash through the colander with a wooden spoon.
- 4 Place squash in a stew pan with cream, butter, salt, and pepper.
- 5 Stew, stirring frequently, until the mixture is dry.
