Creamed Tuna Over Toast
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/8 tsp paprika
- 1 1/2 cups hot milk
- 1 1/2 cups tuna fish
- 1 egg
Method
- 1 Melt butter in a saucepan and whisk in flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- 2 Pour in milk and stir until thickened.
- 3 Add tuna fish and heat thoroughly in the sauce.
- 4 Stir in slightly beaten egg and cook until thickened.
- 5 Pour over toast and serve.
