Creamed Spinach On Toast Points
Ingredients
- 1/2 peck spinach
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 pt boiling water
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3/4 cup milk

Method
- 1 Cook spinach uncovered in boiling water or its own juices until tender. Drain and chop finely.
- 2 Melt butter in a frying pan. Add chopped spinach and cook for 3 minutes.
- 3 Sprinkle cornstarch over spinach and stir thoroughly. Gradually add milk.
- 4 Cook for 5 minutes, stirring until thickened. Serve over toast points.
