Creamed Shrimp
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups shelled shrimp, broken into small pieces
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux.
- 2 Gradually stir in milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
- 3 Add the shrimp pieces and season with salt and pepper. Reheat gently and serve.
