Creamed Potatoes With Paprika
Ingredients
- 1 cup cold boiled potatoes, diced
- Milk, enough to cover
- 3 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Dash of paprika
Method
- 1 Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.
- 2 Add diced potatoes, salt, pepper, and paprika; stir to coat.
- 3 Cover and cook for 1 minute, then uncover and stir well.
- 4 Cover again and cook for another minute.
- 5 Pour in enough milk to cover the potatoes completely.
- 6 Cook very slowly for 45 minutes, keeping the pan covered and stirring occasionally.
