Creamed Peas With Egg Yolk
Ingredients
- 1 can peas
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 egg yolk
- 4 tbsp cream
Method
- 1 Rinse, drain, and rinse the canned peas in boiling water.
- 2 Add butter, sugar, salt, and pepper to the peas.
- 3 Beat the egg yolk and dilute with cream.
- 4 Stir the egg mixture into the peas and cook until slightly thickened.
