Creamed Oyster Bread Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 loaf of bread
- melted butter
- creamed oysters
- fried bread crumbs
- parsley
Method
- 1 Cut the crusts off the bread and dig out the center to create a hollow box shape.
- 2 Brush the bread box all over with melted butter and place in a moderate oven (350°F) to brown.
- 3 Fill the bread box with creamed oysters and cover the top with fried bread crumbs.
- 4 Return to the oven for one minute to heat through, then garnish with parsley and serve.
