Creamed Oyster Bread Bowl

  • 1 loaf of bread
  • melted butter
  • creamed oysters
  • fried bread crumbs
  • parsley

Method

  1. 1 Cut the crusts off the bread and dig out the center to create a hollow box shape.
  2. 2 Brush the bread box all over with melted butter and place in a moderate oven (350°F) to brown.
  3. 3 Fill the bread box with creamed oysters and cover the top with fried bread crumbs.
  4. 4 Return to the oven for one minute to heat through, then garnish with parsley and serve.
