Creamed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 lb mushrooms
  • ¼ lb butter
  • flour to thicken
  • ½ pt sweet cream
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. 1 Clean and strain mushrooms. Add butter to a pan and cook mushrooms in it for about five minutes.
  2. 2 Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms to thicken the mixture.
  3. 3 Gently pour in more than ½ pint of sweet cream and allow it to boil.
  4. 4 Add salt and pepper to taste and serve.
