Creamed Mushrooms With Parsley

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb mushrooms, caps and stems
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped parsley
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 3 tbsp butter

Method

  1. 1 Peel mushrooms and parboil for 3 minutes, then drain.
  2. 2 Dissolve flour in milk, bring to a boil, and cook slowly for 10 minutes.
  3. 3 Add mushrooms, grated onion, parsley, salt, paprika, and butter.
  4. 4 Heat to a boiling point and simmer slowly until hot.
