Ingredients

  • 4 cups diced kohlrabi
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1 cup milk

Method

  1. 1 Prepare kohlrabi by removing leaf stems, washing, and peeling the outer skin. Dice into 4 cups.
  2. 2 Boil diced kohlrabi in salted water until tender, keeping the pot uncovered. Drain well.
  3. 3 Melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper to create a roux.
  4. 4 Gradually stir in milk and cook until the sauce thickens.
  5. 5 Pour the cream sauce over the cooked kohlrabi, reheat, and serve hot.
