Creamed Eggs On Toast
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
- 4 slices toast
Method
- 1 Melt butter in a chafing dish or saucepan over medium heat.
- 2 Stir in flour and cook for a few minutes without browning.
- 3 Slowly add milk while stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
- 4 Season with salt and pepper.
- 5 Add egg slices and heat through, then place on toast and pour sauce over.
