Cream Sauce Baked Oyster Pie

  • 1 lb butter
  • 1 lb flour
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup cream or milk
  • 1 pint oysters

Method

  1. 1 Mix 1 lb flour, 1 lb butter, and ½ cup water to form a crust dough.
  2. 2 Melt 1 tbsp butter, whisk in 2 tbsp flour, then add 1 cup cream or milk to make a sauce.
  3. 3 Add 1 pint oysters to the sauce and heat through.
  4. 4 Line a pie dish with crust, fill with oyster mixture, cover with top crust, and bake until golden.
