Cream Of Corn Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 pint milk
  • 1 pint grated corn
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 pint whipped cream

Method

  1. 1 Place milk in a double boiler and bring to a boil.
  2. 2 Add grated corn and salt to the milk.
  3. 3 Rub flour and butter together until combined.
  4. 4 Stir the flour-butter mixture into the boiling soup.
  5. 5 Just before serving, stir in the whipped cream.
