  • 3/4 pint milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour

Method

  1. 1 Boil 3/4 pint of milk in a saucepan.
  2. 2 Beat 2 eggs, 1 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup flour together until smooth.
  3. 3 Stir the egg mixture into the boiling milk and cook until thickened.
  4. 4 Remove from heat and flavor to taste. Let cool completely.
  5. 5 Make a small slit in the side of cooled cakes and fill with the cream.
