Cranberry Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 1 can apple, cored and thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce (14 ounce, whole)
  • 1 cup margarine (soft, melted)
  • 1/3 cup oatmeal (uncooked)
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • cinnamon

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. 2 Wash apples, remove cores, and slice thinly, keeping the peel on.
  3. 3 Combine cranberries and apples in a bowl, then pour into an 8x8 inch pan.
  4. 4 Mix melted margarine, oatmeal, brown sugar, and cinnamon until blended. Sprinkle over the fruit mixture.
  5. 5 Cover and bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake for 10 more minutes until topping is crisp and brown.
  6. 6 Serve warm or cold.
