Country Captain Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 chicken, cut up
- 4-5 onions, sliced into rings
- green chilies
- green ginger
- 1-2 cups water
Method
- 1 Cut up the chicken and slice the onions into rings; set aside.
- 2 Fry the chicken quickly over a hot fire.
- 3 Fry the onions, then add green chilies and a little green ginger.
- 4 Add 1-2 cups of water and stew until the chicken is tender.
- 5 Do not thicken the gravy. Sprinkle fried onions over the platter before serving.
