  • 1/2 lb cornflour
  • 1/2 lb caster sugar
  • 2 oz butter
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs

Method

  1. 1 Beat the butter until creamy.
  2. 2 Mix in the sugar.
  3. 3 Add the eggs and beat everything well together.
  4. 4 Stir in the cornflour and baking powder.
  5. 5 Pour into a greased cake tin and bake for 45 minutes.
