Corn Soup With Rivels
Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh or canned corn
- 2 quarts water
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- chopped parsley for garnish
Method
- 1 Cook the corn in water for 10 minutes.
- 2 Mix egg, flour, and milk to form a batter.
- 3 Pour the batter through a colander into the boiling corn to create rivels.
- 4 Add butter and salt, then cook slowly in a covered pan for 3 minutes.
- 5 Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
