Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh or canned corn
  • 2 quarts water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • chopped parsley for garnish

Method

  1. 1 Cook the corn in water for 10 minutes.
  2. 2 Mix egg, flour, and milk to form a batter.
  3. 3 Pour the batter through a colander into the boiling corn to create rivels.
  4. 4 Add butter and salt, then cook slowly in a covered pan for 3 minutes.
  5. 5 Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
