Corn Fritters
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon melted Crisco
- 1 can crushed corn
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 3 tablespoons milk
Method
- 1 In a bowl, combine the crushed corn, melted Crisco, salt, pepper, flour, baking powder, and milk.
- 2 Mix the ingredients well until a consistent batter forms.
- 3 Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto a greased griddle.
- 4 Cook over heat until browned on both sides.
