Corn And Flour Gem Bread
Ingredients
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1 cup corn flour
- ½ cup white flour
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 425°F.
- 2 Beat egg yolks with milk, salt, and melted butter until well combined.
- 3 Stir in corn flour and white flour to form a smooth batter.
- 4 Add baking powder to the flour mixture, then gently fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
- 5 Spoon batter into warm gem pans and bake for 15 minutes.
