Coffee Brandy Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 1 quart black coffee
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¾ cup sugar
- ½ cup brandy or rum
- ½ pint heavy cream, whipped
Method
- 1 Mix together the black coffee, 1 cup cream, and sugar in a bowl.
- 2 Freeze the mixture until solid.
- 3 Thaw slightly, then mix in the brandy or rum.
- 4 Fold in the whipped cream and let stand for 30 minutes.
- 5 Stir well before serving.
