Codling Jelly Apricot Jam
Ingredients
- 2 pounds apricots, peeled
- 1 pint codling jelly
- 1.5 pounds fine sugar
Method
- 1 Combine the peeled apricots and codling jelly in a large pot.
- 2 Boil the mixture rapidly until the jelly is almost completely reduced.
- 3 Stir in the fine sugar and continue boiling rapidly until the mixture jells.
- 4 Pour the hot jam into jars or glasses to cool and set.
