Codling Jelly Apricot Jam

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds apricots, peeled
  • 1 pint codling jelly
  • 1.5 pounds fine sugar

Method

  1. 1 Combine the peeled apricots and codling jelly in a large pot.
  2. 2 Boil the mixture rapidly until the jelly is almost completely reduced.
  3. 3 Stir in the fine sugar and continue boiling rapidly until the mixture jells.
  4. 4 Pour the hot jam into jars or glasses to cool and set.
