Codfish And Potato Fritters
Ingredients
- 15 large potatoes
- 1/2 lb prepared shredded codfish
- 1 egg
- 1 egg-sized lump of butter
- 1 tsp paprika
- flour for rolling
Method
- 1 Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash them finely.
- 2 Mix the mashed potatoes with the shredded codfish, egg, butter, and paprika until thoroughly combined.
- 3 Form the mixture into balls and roll them in flour.
- 4 Fry the fish cakes in hot fat until golden brown.
