Coddled Eggs With Paprika

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • paprika for dusting

Method

  1. 1 Place 1 teaspoon of butter in each of two egg glasses or custard cups.
  2. 2 Break one egg into each cup, then add another teaspoon of butter to each.
  3. 3 Place the cups in a pot of cold water and bring to a boil.
  4. 4 Cook for three minutes, then lift cups onto saucers.
  5. 5 Dust the eggs lightly with paprika and serve immediately.
