Coconut Custard Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Method

  1. 1 Mix ingredients together in a saucepan.
  2. 2 Bring to a boil over direct heat.
  3. 3 Cook over hot water for 20 minutes.
  4. 4 Serve with leftover stale cake or baked or steamed puddings.
