Cocoa And Vanilla Buttercream Frosting
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup sweet butter
- 1 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon dry cocoa
- 4 tablespoons heavy cream
Method
- 1 Beat butter until light and creamy.
- 2 Gradually add sugar and vanilla, beating until light.
- 3 Reserve 2 tablespoons of the mixture for decoration.
- 4 Divide the remaining cream into two portions.
- 5 Add cocoa to one portion.
- 6 Whip cream and fold two-thirds into the white cream, then fold the rest into the cocoa cream.
- 7 Use as cake filling.
