Classic White Sauce For Vegetables
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 cup milk
Method
- 1 Melt the butter in a saucepan.
- 2 Stir in the flour, salt, and pepper.
- 3 Pour in the heated milk while stirring constantly.
- 4 Cook until the sauce thickens completely.
- 5 Pour over drained, cooked vegetables and serve.
