  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 cup milk

Method

  1. 1 Melt the butter in a saucepan.
  2. 2 Stir in the flour, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3 Pour in the heated milk while stirring constantly.
  4. 4 Cook until the sauce thickens completely.
  5. 5 Pour over drained, cooked vegetables and serve.
