Classic Rolled Omelet
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp cold water
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Break eggs into a bowl and add cold water equal to the number of eggs. Beat well and season with salt and pepper.
- 2 Heat a thin, smooth frying pan with melted butter over medium heat.
- 3 Pour in the egg mixture. Use a thin knife to lift cooked edges, letting uncooked egg flow underneath. Gently rock the pan.
- 4 When the omelet is creamy and set, roll it up from the handle side. Add a little more butter if needed for browning.
