Classic Potato Croquettes With Parsley
Ingredients
- potatoes
- butter
- hot milk
- beaten egg
- bread or cracker crumbs
- deep fat for frying
- parsley for garnish
Method
- 1 Peel and boil potatoes until tender, then mash them.
- 2 Mix in butter, hot milk, and seasoning to taste.
- 3 Form the mixture into croquette shapes.
- 4 Dip each croquette in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- 5 Fry in deep fat until golden brown.
- 6 Garnish with parsley before serving.
