Classic Popovers
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- pinch of salt
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 425°F. Butter a popover or gem pan.
- 2 Mix flour, egg, milk, and salt until smooth.
- 3 Place pan in oven for 2 minutes until very hot.
- 4 Pour batter into each cup, filling halfway.
- 5 Bake at 425°F for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden.
