Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • pinch of salt

Method

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 425°F. Butter a popover or gem pan.
  2. 2 Mix flour, egg, milk, and salt until smooth.
  3. 3 Place pan in oven for 2 minutes until very hot.
  4. 4 Pour batter into each cup, filling halfway.
  5. 5 Bake at 425°F for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden.
