Classic Parsley Sauce For Fish
Ingredients
- 1 handful parsley, chopped
- 2 oz butter
- 2 oz flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 pint water
- 1 tbsp vinegar
Method
- 1 Chop the parsley and add it to a stewpan with butter, flour, salt, and pepper.
- 2 Moisten the mixture with water and vinegar, then stir over heat until it boils.
- 3 Pour the hot sauce over drained fish and serve immediately.
