Classic Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients

• 3 cups sugar
• 1 cup milk or cream
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate or 6 tablespoons cocoa
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

1. 1 Combine sugar, milk, and cocoa or chocolate in a saucepan.
2. 2 Stir and boil the mixture until it forms a soft ball when tested in cold water.
3. 3 Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
4. 4 Cool slightly and stir until the mixture becomes creamy.
5. 5 Pour onto buttered plates and cut into squares once set.
