Classic Baked Muffins
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 heaping teaspoon baking powder
- a pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Method
- 1 Sift the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt together into a bowl.
- 2 Beat the eggs until very light, then mix in the milk and melted butter.
- 3 Gradually sift the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring constantly just until combined.
- 4 Pour batter into greased muffin tins and bake for 25 minutes.
