Claret Fruit Cocktail
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup claret (or other wine like sherry or Catawba)
- 1 tsp sugar
- Ice, cracked fine
- Water, as desired
- 1 strawberry, raspberry, bit of pineapple, orange, or other convenient fruit
- 2 straws
Method
- 1 Pour claret into a tumbler and add sugar.
- 2 Fill the glass with cracked ice and add a little water if desired.
- 3 Shake well, then add fruit and two straws before serving.
