Citrus Fig Jam
Ingredients
- 2 pounds fresh figs
- 2 oranges
- 2 lemons
- 1 pound granulated sugar
Method
- 1 Juice the oranges and lemons. Finely shred the rind of one orange.
- 2 Combine figs, citrus juice, and shredded orange rind in a large pot.
- 3 Boil the mixture for 30 minutes until the figs are soft.
- 4 Stir in the sugar and boil for another 30 minutes until thickened.
- 5 Ladle the hot jam into sterilized jars and seal immediately.
