Cinnamon Spiced Mandarin Pear Pineapple Fruit Salad
Ingredients
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 can (16 oz) mandarin orange sections, drained
- 1 can (16 oz) pears, drained and sliced
- 1 can (16 oz) pineapple chunks, undrained
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, halved
Method
- 1 Cut fresh strawberries in half.
- 2 Drain the syrup from the mandarin orange sections.
- 3 Drain the juice from the canned pears and slice them.
- 4 Open the can of pineapple chunks but do not drain the juice.
- 5 In a mixing bowl, combine the undrained pineapple, orange juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir well.
- 6 Gently fold in the mandarin oranges, sliced pears, and strawberries.
- 7 Refrigerate for 1 to 4 hours before serving.
