Cinnamon Custard Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 pint milk
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 eggs

Method

  1. 1 Heat milk in a double boiler. Rub cornstarch smooth in a little cold milk, then stir into the hot milk to thicken.
  2. 2 Add salt, sugar, and cinnamon. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  3. 3 Stir in well-beaten eggs. Pour into a buttered baking dish.
  4. 4 Bake until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Serve cold.
