Cinnamon Custard Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 pint milk
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 eggs
Method
- 1 Heat milk in a double boiler. Rub cornstarch smooth in a little cold milk, then stir into the hot milk to thicken.
- 2 Add salt, sugar, and cinnamon. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- 3 Stir in well-beaten eggs. Pour into a buttered baking dish.
- 4 Bake until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Serve cold.
