Cinnamon Almond Sand Tarts
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 4 eggs
- flour
- 2 eggs beaten
- sugar
- cinnamon
- chopped almonds
Method
- 1 Cream butter and half the sugar together.
- 2 Mix in the remaining sugar and eggs.
- 3 Add flour to make a very stiff dough.
- 4 Roll thin, cut into small squares, and wet tops with beaten eggs.
- 5 Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, and chopped almonds.
- 6 Bake in a moderate oven (350°F) for 10 minutes.
