Cider And Brown Sugar Pie
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups cider
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- pie crust
Method
- 1 Combine brown sugar, cider, and cornstarch in a saucepan.
- 2 Dissolve the starch, then bring the mixture to a boil.
- 3 Cook for three minutes, then remove from heat.
- 4 Stir in cinnamon and vinegar until well mixed.
- 5 Allow the filling to cool slightly.
- 6 Bake the filling between two pie crusts.
