Chocolate Mousse Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 bars good-quality chocolate
- 1/2 inch vanilla bean
- Thin slices of bread
- Sugar (optional)
Method
- 1 Grate the chocolate bars into a bowl.
- 2 Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out the seeds.
- 3 Whip the heavy cream with the vanilla seeds until firm peaks form.
- 4 Fold the grated chocolate into the whipped cream until combined.
- 5 Spread the chocolate cream mixture onto thin slices of bread.
- 6 Top with another slice of bread to form sandwiches.
