Chocolate Meringue Filling
Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1½ tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 ounces chocolate
- 1 teaspoon butter
Method
- 1 Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- 2 Slowly add confectioners' sugar and baking powder, beating continually.
- 3 Add milk, vanilla, and chocolate melted with butter; mix until smooth.
- 4 Spread the mixture onto cake.
