Chocolate Fudge With Figs Raisins And Walnuts
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup Baker's chocolate
- 2 tbsp chopped figs
- 2 tbsp raisins
- 1/2 cup English walnuts
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
- 1 Combine sugar, milk, molasses, and butter in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for 7 minutes.
- 2 Add the chocolate and continue boiling for 7 more minutes, stirring until smooth.
- 3 Remove from heat and stir in figs, raisins, walnuts, and vanilla.
- 4 Pour into a greased pan and let cool until firm before cutting.
