Chocolate Fudge Cake With Vanilla Frosting

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 4 egg whites
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• melted chocolate

Method

1. 1 Cream 1/2 cup butter with 1 cup sugar. Fold in stiffly beaten whites of 4 eggs.
2. 2 Sift in 1 1/2 cups flour and 1 tsp baking powder. Mix well and flavor with vanilla.
3. 3 Bake batter in a square tin until done.
4. 4 Boil 1 1/2 cups sugar with 1/2 cup milk until it forms a soft ball in cold water.
5. 5 Flavor syrup with vanilla and stir until thick. Spread over the cake.
6. 6 Pour melted chocolate over the top.
