Chocolate Fudge Balls
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 3 cups white sugar
- Baker's unsweetened chocolate
Method
- 1 Boil water and sugar until thick when dropped in cold water.
- 2 Melt chocolate in a bowl set in a pan of water on the stove.
- 3 Pour hot sugar syrup onto a marble slab and stir until thick.
- 4 Knead the sugar mixture until stiff enough to form into balls.
- 5 Let balls cool on a plate, then dip in melted chocolate.
- 6 Remove with a fork and place on buttered paper to set.
