Chocolate Dipped Coconut Balls

Ingredients

  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 cup grated coconut
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 egg whites, beaten stiff
  • 1/2 ounce baking chocolate, grated
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Method

  1. 1 Mix sugar, coconut, vanilla, salt, and stiffly beaten egg whites. Roll into small balls.
  2. 2 Let balls stand for 30 minutes.
  3. 3 Melt butter and mix with grated chocolate. Let cool slightly.
  4. 4 Dip balls into chocolate mixture and place on a buttered plate to harden.
