Chocolate Custard Souffle
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 oz powdered sugar
- 2 oz butter
- 1 oz grated chocolate
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 egg whites
Method
- 1 Mix cornstarch with milk until smooth. Stir in powdered sugar and butter.
- 2 Cook over heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture boils. Remove from heat and let cool.
- 3 Stir in grated chocolate and egg yolks until perfectly smooth.
- 4 Fold in beaten egg whites. Pour into a buttered souffle dish.
- 5 Bake for 40 minutes.
