  • ½ cup cocoa
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 pie crust (unbaked)

Method

  1. 1 Combine water, cocoa, cornstarch, and sugar in a saucepan. Stir until cornstarch is fully dissolved.
  2. 2 Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  3. 3 Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Pour the filling into an unbaked pie crust.
  4. 4 Bake in a slow oven (300°F) for 30 minutes. Let cool completely before slicing.
