Ingredients

  • 4 oz chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 2 oz boiling water
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 eggs, well-beaten

Method

  1. 1 Break chocolate into pieces and add to boiling water. Mill or whisk until chocolate is completely dissolved.
  2. 2 Stir in cream and beaten eggs. Bring to a boil while continuously whisking or milling to prevent curdling.
  3. 3 Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Whisk vigorously again to create a frothy texture before serving.
