Chocolate Covered Roasted Almonds
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound vanilla sweet chocolate
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons boiling water
- almonds
Method
- 1 Pour boiling water over almonds and let stand for 2-3 minutes to blanch. Remove skins and roast in the oven.
- 2 Melt chocolate in a saucepan over boiling water. Stir in butter and boiling water until smooth. Adjust consistency with more water or chocolate if needed.
- 3 Dip roasted almonds in the chocolate mixture and drop onto paraffin paper to set.
